Karlitos
As I understand it, you have to be especially careful with the photo for the visa to Uzbekistan. Although technically an old photo can be used, it is important to take into account a few nuances. If your face has changed a lot (for example, due to hair growth, change in style or age), it is worth updating the photo. Also, if the photo is old and doesn't meet current standards (size, lighting and background), this could be a reason for rejection. Therefore, it is always better to take care that the photo is up to date and of high quality.
Niccols
I was recently faced with the need to update my photo for my visa to Uzbekistan. My old photo was taken a few years ago and I was no longer sure if it would fit. I decided to use an online photo service https://photogov.net/documents/uz-visa-35x45mm-photo/ as it was much easier than going to a photo studio. I found a website that explains all the requirements in great detail, including the 35x45mm photo size and the lighting and background settings needed. The site also states that the photo must be current and show your real appearance. So I simply uploaded my photo and the service automatically adjusted it to the right parameters, just what I needed! If you want to read more about the requirements, I recommend checking out the information on the website I used. It really saved time and nerves. Jarenhol
To be honest, I wouldn't risk using an old photo for a visa to Uzbekistan. Even if it looks decent, there is always a chance that it will be rejected because of some minor inconsistencies. It's best to take a new one, especially if your face has changed. For example, my old passport photo was taken years ago and I knew for sure that it was no longer current. The visa process is easier when all the requirements are met clearly and accurately.
