Cant access phpmyadmin

Featured Replies

I have just installed 3.5 and have the same/similar error to another posting on this forum.

I get the error message

Welcome to phpMyAdmin2.10.2

error #1045 - Acess denied for user: root@127.0.1 (using passowrd YES)

I have not loaded any webs or changed any settings.

Is there another way to access Mysql?

Thanks

Fido.

I have had a previous instal of uniform server 3.3 and i had a fox serve package.

I removed these .

The search did not come up with LIBMYSQL.dll.

Shall i reinstal 3.5?

I have reinstalled the software and had the same error message. However, the widow with the error message offers a link to open a new phpmyadmin widow, which then does open phpmyadmin with the mysql details.

Is this correct?
