Simple question about XP firewall

Hi,

 

I installed the uniform server to Windows Home Edition. When I press the Server_Start ms-dos bat-file my Windows XP firewall asks:

 

"Do you want to keep blocking this program?

 

Name: mysqld-opt"

 

and also same for the "Apache HTTP Server".

 

I guess I should unblock them but I just ask this here for to be sure. So do I unblock them?

    Yep you are 100% correct, make sure they are unblocked otherwise you will have no working servers.

     

    I personally like to see these alarm bells activated, at least I have some confidence that they are doing something.
