when i try to start the uniform server by clicking on the server_start.bat file , an error message comes along which says ' The disk W is busy. Use Disk.Start.vbs'

 

how do i resolve this. please help me on this one .

A. Do you have another server running?

B. Do you have something blocking port 80? Antivirus/Firewall?

C. Do you have single installations of PHP, MySQL and or PHP?

D. Do you have LIBMYSQL.DLL in the C:/Windows or C:/Windows/System32/ Folder.

E. Do you have IIS installed?

thank you for your help...i tried and checked for everything you had mentioned but it still doesnt help.

 

The thing is it was working fine until last evening and uniform server not starting was really the problem i had come to this forum for. My original problem was this

 

I am trying to install activeCollab. so for the installation

 

when i run http://localhost/apanel/phpMyAdmin i get the following error message

But its weird...the url 'http://localhost/apanel/phpMyAdmin ' is working because i am getting the error message but when i run http://localhost/apanel its not working....

 

I really need to get activeCollab very soon i.e before next tuesday and i am all lost at the moment.

 

Can you help me with this ???

So phpMyAdmin loads? Try http://localhost/apanel/ - With the slash at the end.

 

For the other thing, make sure the username and password are both root.

I hope i understood you correctly ..I changed the username and password in the config.inc.php file to 'root' but it didnt help. Did you mean something else ??

 

Its been two weeks and i havent been able to install activCollab. Any help from you is much appreciated
