    wierd problem with mail function

    I have installed latest version of uniform server(5.1) OS : WinXP Processor : intel centrino duo Antivirus McAfee I'm trying to make uniform server to be able to send mail using SMTP(gmail) no matter what I do, i can't seems to make uniform server to be able to send email using my Gmail account. weirdly enough using another PC and XamPP server the same setup works perfectly. I already uncomment extension=php_openssl.dll in php.ini(and of course restart the server) the script im using to test whether a mail successfully sent is using wordpress smtp mail plugin. anyone here can help me?
