    So what does a "clean machine issue" mean? Will the issue be resolved in the next version? What do you recommend users do?

    I get the same error when clicking "Server Status" from the tray icon. The solution mentioned above works. The bug is in both 5.1 and 5.0. I'm running on Windows XP SP3 from a USB flash drive. I simply downloaded the .zip file and extracted it to the flash drive and ran start.exe.
