    Ric, you are right, I thought the pskill.exe program was the cause, so I downloaded another process killer, and it's still the same. Thanks anyway.

    I have a Dell laptop, and everytime I shut down the server I get a very loud 'beep'; now this is annoying and I would like to turn it off. Thanks
