Resu Posted March 28, 2016 Report Posted March 28, 2016 I tried to download the latest version (12_2_0_ZeroXII.exe) from sourceforge.net, but avast detected malware (Win32:Evo-Gen). I disabled the antivirus, downloaded the file and checked it with virustotal which detected two threats:Trojan.Shelma.abt (AV Jiangmin)PE:Malware.Generic(Thunder)!1.A1C4 [F] (AV Rising) Are they false alarms? megan Posted March 28, 2016 Report Posted March 28, 2016 In 2015 the previously well respected SourceFourge was accused of various shady practices including adding malware to compiled downloads. Even though SourceForge has since changed its stance, I am wondering if this might be the same problem??? Quote
Resu Posted March 28, 2016 Author Report Posted March 28, 2016 Well, if it IS part of a shady practice:Are there any alternative download sites that might be safer? Quote
