When I press the Server_Start ms-dos bat-file my Windows XP firewall asks: "Do you want to keep blocking this program? Name: mysqld-opt" and also same for the "Apache HTTP Server". I personally like to see these alarm bells activated, at least I have some confidence that they are doing something.
