    What are the uses of Uniform Server

    The Media Streamer needs to find the server, Which I believe has to be seen as a file server or a network drive, then it needs permissions to access the files. THa is to my knowledge how it works. How hard is it to install Uniform Server and what type of hardware does it require? Thank you for the quick response. Pierre

    I am not a programer, I am an advanced user. I am looking to build a server that will do the following: 1) File Server for all the computers on my home network 2) File server for my Digital media streamer device 3) Host my home page. 4) FTP site so I can access my file from the web. Does Uniform server fill these needs? Thank you. Pierre
