Hi! I noticed that the UniServer 3.3 has various plugins, like PHP4, etc.

I could not locate MySQL plugins, though. They would be nice to have because this way local and live environments could be matched.

Ulternatives are to use earlier releases of UniServer which have MySQL4 installad, but I am not sure what one would loose on the servers performance.

We already have that in planning, but we are too busy. It might be a bad thing for you to submit it to our Feature Request System on SourceForge.NET.
