  1. Thanks, Ric. I've updated the msmtprc.ini file with my SMTP login details and it's now working. I'm just puzzled why email has been delivered in the past without me needing to touch that file???
  2. I just realised I've not been clear. I'm trying to install http://get-simple.info/ which sends a registration email with password. It used to work but is now failing with about error messages.
  3. This problem has just started for me - US is failing to send registration / password reminder emails so I cannot login. I'm running on a Win8.1 machine and get this message: Any suggestions please?
  4. If I have .vbs files associated with my editor (http://www.webuilderapp.com/), when I start Apache the file us_hta_delay.vbs opens in my editor. Is this a bug? Is there any way to prevent it happening? Thanks.

  7. Hi. Thanks for the reply, but that is not entirely true (for me at least). If I delete the .htacces then I cannot access root. I don't know if it's possible to fix that but it would be nice if we could delete all those files at www - and even better still if they were not there as part of the default install.
  8. One minor thing that's always bugged me about Uniform is that it 'takes over' the www root with index.php, .htaccess, favicon, images folder, css folder. Would it be possible to move all of these to e.g. a 'uniform-server' sub-folder, so that I can use www root for my files? If not, at least Uniform could use inline CSS and base64 images and favicon? P.S. Steel beta is looking great. Particularly like the integrated tray. Thanks!
  9. Is there a command line switch available to automatically start UniServer (Apache + MySQL) when launching UniTray? TIA. P.S. The wiki is FUBARed - http://wiki.uniformserver.com/
  10. Excellent. Although, I wonder why you need three? Seems like extra work for the dev team when the full version could be used by all of us. I did not know that. That's an easy workaround for now. I guess the obvious answer from a selfish perspective: whichever can be delivered quicker! But it's only a minor issue for me so whichever suits you and the dev team best. Thanks very much.
  11. Another vote for this. It's a nuisance having the program in the taskbar when I don't need to access it after the server is started. Is this feature on the way? Thanks.
  12. I just received a reply from Avira - they confirm false positive and virus signatures will be updated accordingly. P.S. I would have replied to you guys earlier but didn't get thread notification for some reason.
  13. I just downloaded the new Orion package and Antivir Free (latest updates) flagged Run_pre_check.exe as a virus - 'TR/Dropper.gen' - could anyone else confirm they're seeing the same? I'm guessing this is a false positive and have reported it to Antivir.
  14. Hi Ric, Thanks for pointing me at what I should have found myself! Sorry for delay in replying - I forgot to switch on thread notification. Cheers, David.
