post-3447-1236274917_thumb.jpgUsing Uniform Server 4.0 on XP Pro SP 1

I've stumble on this :

First....

clickin' on some link on the admin page using IE

IE.jpg

Return this

AdminVirtualHost.jpg

Second...

When I create Virtual Host on my server, it did create on httpd.conf file and also create folder just fine.

Not to mention host file on system32 folder perfectly....But when I tried to access it, my DocumentRoot

for the newly created VirtualHost seem to be running on /www and not on the designated DocumentRoot.

Even when I Restart Apache2 Service using the Admin page.

So to have my VirtualHost running, I have to stop the Apache Service using UniController and start it again.

##########VIRTUAL HOST SETUP##########

# somehost

<VirtualHost *>

ServerName wp

DocumentRoot /www/somehost

</VirtualHost>

Thus what is the use of Restart Apache2 Service ?

:) :) :)

On the other hand, Great Job on making the Uniform Server.

Hi Punk :)

Firstly I think you need to upgrade you computer to XP SP3 and 1E7 or Firefox

Regarding your virtual host settings I always restart my services after every new Virtual host creation and it works without fail every time

But like I said install all the latest updates and try again

Hi Punk...

Enlight me..

If Uniform server is not installed as a service I use the Unicontroller

If Uniform is installed as a Service I use the Uninstall.bat & Install.bat

But that is my preference :) and I have never had a problem
