Use the www folder to put you files.. the files that will show on the server. Use the cgi-bin to put the perl scripts and cgi scripts... others you do not need to worry about... tmp is for temporary files... :)

The diskw folder is what you see in the W:/ folder... u should get that..? :D the doc folder is the docs folder for docs... duh :(

:D

After shutdown the W:/ drive will be gone... you can save files to either the disw/www/ or W;/www/

Hope this helps :D :D

Cya later :D

Cool ! well just looking in the "W:\home" and "W:\usr" there is alot of things in there ! My questions is what would I have to do if I need to put a user to edit some web files remote? do I have to edit any of these files?

I know you said not to worry about these folders but I do see alot of things in there, I was just wondering if I will need them down the line?

Thank You

Ok, sound good !! Well now do you know anything on how I can put this server online using No-ip.com? I think with this service I can redirect my ip address to the server.

Do you know if I would have to config any files in the server to used this service?

I'm not sure exactly what the others are for, but usr I believe is for programs, such as the perl interpreter.
WWW is like public_html; put content to be served in there or in subdirectories under it.
Regarding the folders under uniserver3_2a: Doc I believe is for documentation. Diskw is that the disk "w:\" that the start.bat creates redirects to. putting files in it is the same as putting them under w:\. Doing it that way allows you to have an installation-free server. You shouldn't have to copy anything to diskw. Just put them in w:\www.
I hope this answers your questions.
