Windows 10 Technical Preview

With the release of Windows 10 Technical Preview we gave Uiniform Server XI a quick spin.
Initial test, ran 11_3_3_ZeroXI straight out of the box (Portable operation),  UniController, Apache and MySQL servers worked perfectly.

The above tests were performed using VirtualBox Version  4.3.12 r93733
Over the coming months more detailed tests will be performed.
If in the meantime you have any experience with running XI on Windows 10 Technical Preview feel free to post.

Thanks Ric!

It's good to know that the upcoming Windows may actually reduce potential problems with The Uniform Server.

I installed and ran ZeroXI - 11.8.1 on Windows 10 Home on VirtualBox Version 5.0.6 r103037

The splash pages loaded, phpmyadmin loaded up and I created a DB.

Clicked on Adminer. recieved this message Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /us_opt2/ on this server.

PHP Info. worked.

Thanks.

rustyp: Adminer is now a module that you can download easily from Uniform Server ZeroXII modules.

then put exe file downloaded to the UniServerZ directory and execute it to install.  ;)
