Ain't it great...finger pointing time!! Wild West, our DNS provider, says everything looks good to them. The tech used http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools to check it, but what he did must require a special fee to use because I couldn't duplicate his findings using the free features. Anyway, I am inclined to put more confidence in what you have found but I can't prove it to them... What amazes me is that when I was testing the Linux setup last week everything was fine, and I can't imagine that simply unplugging that box and replacing it with this Windows system on the same Router has caused a failure along the way. Of course, when I mentioned that to the tech ("been doing this for 4 years"), he had no answer since it was beyond his scope and obviously didn't want to discuss the "theory" of any ramifications to replacing a box. The beat goes on... Not resolving to an IP Address makes sense, but why -- I have registered 71.43.6.154 through 158 as NS.HYPERSNOWBOARDS.NET and NS2.HYPERSNOWBOARDS.NET with Wild West. If you do a Whois on the domains you will see them as Nameservers. If the domains not resolving to an IP Address is the problem, then I am further confused because I previously had been testing them successfully on a Linux cPanel/WHM based system using the same settings up until a few days ago. That machine has since been shut down and replaced with this Windows XP system. It can't be a time-to-propagate issue with the new computer, can it? Nothing changed other than the server boxes. I had expected to simply unplug one machine and plug in the other to the same Router using all the same settings. Does it matter what system everything runs on? Russ

I received IP/DNS info from Road Runner, which have all been added to the TCP/IP settings: IP Address: 71.43.6.154 Subnet: 255.255.255.248 Gateway: 71.43.6.153 DNS Servers: 65.32.1.65 65.32.1.70 I believe your point number 3 above is correct but I surely don't see where it is coming from. I can access my sites from the Virtual Host page (localhost?) but not from over the regular Internet. Using the static IP Address I can bring up the Uniform Server default page but not the apanel or any of my sites: Trying the IP Address/apanel shows "The website declined to show this webpage" Trying the sites shows "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" The httpd.conf, .htaccess and Windows.../hosts all look like they should. The logs don't seem to shed any light on the subject. There is no active firewall on the Router. Road Runner (cable Internet) says there is not an issue with the forwarding of port 80. One thing, though, is that I can type the URL for a site in a browser window ON THE SERVER and up it comes! The port light on the Router flickers, which makes me think the request is actually going out to the Internet, finding the site on my server, and coming back to serve it. Is that true? However, the IP Address/apanel attempt show the same message as above. What am I missing? Thanks, Russ
