I want to configure uniform server as web server on Windows 2008. I already set a server and I have a dedicated IP and a domain which is hosted on another server. Now I want to move my domain to my new server. I tried but I was unable to do so. I am very thankful for any support...

So what went wrong? Not enough detail about your problem. What application will you be running? Do you have a test configuration set up?

Using Uniform Server for a production site is fine, so long as you are aware of the security risks and have closed the doors with really secure passwords. The first question I have is whether you have tested the new site via the IP address. Do you know about the DNS entry changes needed?

BTW, there's a load of info in the Wiki that can be really helpful for this.

Regards,
BobS

It is normal to have a plain answer to a plain question, but BobS is such kind ;-)

7.0.0-Orion tested and works on Windows Server 2008.

However, the Visual C++ 2008 redistributable package is required, and not installed by default.

So you need to download and install this first:
