  1. Never mind, figured it out - it's not a server problem at all...
  2. Hi, I tried to install a recruitment system on the server, but I ran in to some problems... First, the php scripts (index.php) won't run, and second, when I looked at the error logs, I get output like - [Fri Jan 15 15:13:03 2010] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] PHP Warning: require(site.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\\UniServer\\www\\orsee\\index.php on line 6 - [Fri Jan 15 15:13:03 2010] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] PHP Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required 'site.php' (include_path='.;C:/UniServer/usr/local/php/includes;C:/UniServer/usr/local/php/pear;C:/UniServer/home/admin/www/plugins/pear/PEAR:./tagsets:./../tagsets:./../../tagsets') in C:\\UniServer\\www\\orsee\\index.php on line 6 I'm pretty sure those double slashes have something to do with it, but I can't figure out where it is coming from. I have checked the configuration files very carefully, and I can't see why it's doing that. I would be grateful for any assistance, aquadhere
  3. Hi, I've just upgraded from 4.3 to 5.3. Using 4.3, I was able to launch both apache and mysql on startup by putting a link in the startup directory. I was able to figure this out by using the files in the altrnative_control directory. But is it possble to have apache, mysql and cron start up all at once? I realized that i could start cron just by addint a shortcut to start_cron.bat in the startup directory, but now there are error messages saying that apache and mysql are not enabled in config.inc.php... I had a look at the file but I'm not sure what to do with it... aquadhere p.s. thank you for the latest release of uniform server. the addition of cron makes things a lot easier, before I spent a lot of time kludging together a backup solution using 7zip and task scheduler... now I can change to backup machines without spending a lot of time on configurations...
  4. Hi, I am an admin for a small university website, and I am considering to migrate from WAMPserver to the uniform server. It looks great, but I have to ask, I can't seem to access the myphpbackup pro plugin. I've checked the apanel, and the directory structure in the latest version (4.3 Mona, downloaded from sourceforge) and for the life of me, I can't seem to find it. Do I have to install it separately? This isn't a problem, but I would hate to have some kind of conflict when I'm making backups of precious information (we run surveys on our server). You seem to be doing great work, thank you for this wonderful package and keep up the good work. aquadhere
