Can not drop table or database as ADMIN

I have modified the User rights for root (see the Pinned post)... root has ALL PRIVILEGES now.

But, I still can not delete any database? What is wrong yet?

#1044 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' to database 'dbname'

EDIT

Problem solved. I had to restart the MySQL server in order him to accept the changes. Now it's ok.
