madencbm Posted October 2, 2007 Report Share Posted October 2, 2007 I can run Uniform Server on local host but any time I try to connect to any Uniform Server URL I get the following message: "You don't have permission to access / on this server. "Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." Additionally when I go to "version check" I get the message: "Warning: file(http://www.uniformserver.com/system/.version) [function.file]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden in W:\home\admin\www\update.php on line 25" Here are the contents of Line 25 in updat.php: $available = file ('http://www.uniformserver.com/system/.version'); //$available = file ('includes/.version'); $my = file ('includes/.version'); Your help is greatly appreciated!
